Terms & Conditions

 

The customer agreesto the following terms:

(a)both you and the person(s) receiving delivery of goods purchased from our website are aged 18 years or over

(b)if you place an order for goods on our websiteor in person, you enter into a contract with BNJ Events & Decorations (BNJ) for the supply of those goods. Each accepted order is a separate contract;

(c)BNJ can accept or reject an order for any reason, including (without limitation) unavailability of goods, an error inthe pricing, image or goods description, or an error in your order;

(d)all information and data you provide when ordering is accurate, complete and up to date, and you will promptly notify us of any changes to this information or data;

(e)all prices quoted for allgoods sold are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST. Your freight and handling charges will be calculated and added to the purchase price before you are asked to place your  order. Prices  listed on  this  website  are subject  to change  until you  have paid for  the goodsand/orservices. A 25% lodgement feeis requiredupon booking to confirmthe date of your event and balance  is  required  3  days prior  to  the  event  taking  place.  Paying the lodgement  fee  states  your acknowledgement ofthe services agreementand terms of service. Bond payment is required to cover damages and/or loss of property. Refundable bond is calculated based onthe items used for your event and is included as part of your total invoice and excludes GST(typically between $500 and $1000).  The bondis then refundable within 72hrs of completion of the contract;

(f)a formal quote will be provided which outlines all goodsand services as requested, once you have agreedto proceed, you will receive an invoice.  The details of the invoice once paidforms the contract between you   (the   customer)   and   BNJ.      Youmay   make   payment viaDirect Bank   transfer,   BPAYor VISA/Mastercard.Youwill then receive an electronic tax receipt via email when your payment has been processed;

(g)BNJ will deliver your goods and provide services as outlined in the contract invoice after it has processed your payment.

(h)BNJwill use its best endeavoursto ensure that goods are available for delivery, and in most cases will notify you if goods are unavailable before you place your order. However, in some cases, this will not be possible and it will need to reject any order for goods after it has processed your payment. In these cases, it will refund you in full all amounts you have paid for the unavailable goods. In the event of cancellation due to restrictions caused byapandemic, we will refund 80% of deposit due to loss of potential other businesson your chosen date. In the event of rescheduling due to theserestrictions, no charge will be issued;

(i)once the goods have been deliveredand setup at thenominated delivery address, you assume all risk and title in the goods (including the risks associated with storing the goods). Any damages are deducted from the bond payment and remainder of bond(if any) will be returned;

(j)BNJwill comply with all Australian laws that relate to the service delivery of goods and services as outlined in your contract invoice;

(k)our chairs are checked and maintainedin ‘fit for purpose’condition at all times.  In the event of an injury as a result of a person sitting on a chairor attempting to sit on a chairprovided by BNJ, we do not take responsibilitythat may result;

We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews and recommendations.

b)When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated below only.

c)We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide and operate the Services;

  2. To provide our clients with quotes, invoices, service advice and design solutions for the event;

  3. To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalised service-related notices and promotional messages;

  4. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services;

  5. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

d)Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
